- You can create 2 types of events with Marconi: Ticketed and Non-Ticketed with ticketed events offering both free and paid ticket configurations.
- Ticketed events require an event ticket to access your livestream event. You can set your ticket price or make your tickets free – it's up to you!
- Non-ticketed events are great for hosting frictionless live events that allow anyone to access without needing to enter any additional information.
- Next, click the + New Event button to begin creating your event.
- Start by adding your event details and scheduling your event date and start time. You can change this later!
- Next, if you enabled ticketing, you can configure your ticket type and details.
- The last step is to review your event and make sure everything looks correct. If all looks good, publish your event by hitting the Create Event button.
- Your new event should be listed in the Upcoming Events view on the Events page.
- You can promote your event by sharing your Event Page Link

- Before your event, you'll want to connect your preferred live encoding software to Marconi. We recommend OBS to get started (StreamlabsOBS is also free but offers paid features).
- Once you have OBS installed, you'll need to configure the settings for and optimal balance of quality and stability. Check out our guide on Getting OBS Setup just right.
